I will get back to you within 24 hours, provided all the information has been sent to me.
Booking terms:
Companies: a booking is only confirmed once the quote has been signed and a 50% deposit has been paid by bank transfer.
If I am not personally available, I will do everything I can to find you one or more makeup artists to suit your needs. I work with a network of talented independent makeup artists, trained by me, and I manage the client relationship on their behalf.
Travel costs may vary depending on where the makeup artist is based.
Setup:
For each event, the makeup artist(s) arrive 20-30 minutes early to set up.
Face painting:
I always bring my professional makeup station, as well as my high chair if space allows.
Please provide a spacious, well-lit area for the makeup booth.
Products:
Water-based face paints: All the paints I use are hypoallergenic and comply with European standards. They are perfectly suited to children and sensitive skin
Ingredients: Paraffin Wax, Petrolatum, Glycerine, Calcium Carbonate, Stearyl Alcohol, EDTA Disodium Salt, Sodium, Benzoate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Dextrin, Mica. + Pigments
Brushes: The brushes I use have synthetic bristles and are not tested on animals.
Glitter: I use biodegradable glitter from EcoStardust: all their glitter is biodegradable and made mainly from plant cellulose instead of PET plastic. The main ingredient is eucalyptus from sustainably farmed, non-GMO plantations.
Hygiene / Safety:
All my equipment is cleaned and disinfected between each event. I reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who is unwell or has a skin condition.
For lips, I use single-use applicators to avoid any transmission of micro-organisms.
Face/body painting is strongly discouraged for children under 3
Glitter temporary tattoos are strongly discouraged for children under 5
Glitter face makeup (Glitter bar) is strongly discouraged for children under 12
Makeup removal:
Face/body painting: The makeup comes off easily with soap and water, ideally in the shower. Milk-type cleansers aren't recommended, as they don't work well on this kind of product. If a little colour remains, finish off with micellar water.
Glitter: Glitter comes off easily with your usual makeup remover; for any stubborn sparkles, a cleansing oil works wonders.
